Jerith Kitchen Remodeling: The Austin Owner’s Guide

We install and service Jerith kitchen remodeling components across Austin, with typical full-kitchen Jerith-spec projects running $14,000 – $45,000. If a specific Jerith part has failed, we can usually match it and schedule the repair within a few days. Most owners reach this page because a drawer front has cracked, a cabinet hinge has torn free, or a door panel has warped after years of Austin heat and humidity swings, and they want to know if the part can be matched without replacing the whole run of cabinets.

Mason Remodeling Co Austin is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with Jerith, but we work with Jerith cabinetry and accessories regularly and know the parts well enough to match, order, or fabricate what you need.

Which Jerith Models This Applies To

New painted shaker cabinets with an organized deep drawer

Jerith cabinetry comes through several kitchen lines, and the part you need depends on the series and the year it was installed. We see three common configurations in Austin homes: the full-overlay slab door fronts, the raised-panel Shaker-style fronts, and the inset door lines. Each uses different hinge mounting plates and different drawer box depths, so a hinge from one Jerith line will not always fit another. The fastest way to identify your part is to pull a drawer and look at the stamped label inside the box; Jerith prints the cabinet line and color code on a sticker near the back panel. If the label is gone, measure the door overlay and the hinge screw pattern. We carry the common Jerith-compatible hinges, drawer slides, and touch-up kits on the truck, and we can order the less common trim and panel components direct.

We keep quality aftermarket equivalents for most Jerith wear parts, and we’ll tell you plainly when the OEM part is worth the wait instead. Springs and soft-close mechanisms are one area where aftermarket works fine. Molded door panels and matched veneers are not; those should come from Jerith to keep the grain and color consistent.

Signs Your Jerith Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing

  • Drawer opens rough or sticks at the halfway point. The undermount slide has lost its ball bearings or the clip has misaligned. Jerith drawer boxes are usually solid, so the slide is almost always the culprit.
  • Hinge sag on a full-overlay door. You’ll see the door drop so it rubs the one beside it. The mounting screws have stripped in the particleboard frame, or the hinge arm has bent from repeated overload.
  • Soft-close doors slam shut. The small polymer dampener inside the hinge cup has cracked. Jerith hinges can usually be re-dampened without replacing the whole hinge, but not always.
  • Veneer lifting at the panel edges. Austin summers push moisture into the air and dry winters pull it out. The veneer on older Jerith doors can separate where the edge banding meets the panel. This is a refinish or replacement situation, not a glue-it-back situation.
  • Corner joint opening on a drawer box. If the dovetail or dowel joint has separated, the drawer was likely overloaded at some point. The fix is a new box built to the same dimensions, and we do that in-house rather than waiting on a factory part.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A galley kitchen opened up to the dining room with a new peninsula

Part repair and replacement pricing in Austin depends on what failed and how far the damage goes. Here are our installed price ranges:

  • Single hinge or drawer slide replacement: $75 – $200
  • Full kitchen hardware swap, including soft-close conversion: $400 – $1,500
  • Refacing damaged door or drawer fronts: $150 – $450 per opening
  • Full Jerith-spec kitchen remodel, including cabinets, counters, and finishing: $14,000 – $45,000

Our quotes include parts, labor, disposal of the failed component, and a written price before we start. You’ll know the exact cost before a tool comes out, and the work is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something isn’t right within a year of completion, we come back and fix it at no charge.

DIY or Call Us?

You can safely adjust a sagging hinge with a Phillips screwdriver, and you can replace a drawer pull or knob without calling anyone. But hinge cups, soft-close mechanisms, and undermount slides require a steady hand and the right mounting plates, and they’re easy to misalign if you’ve never done one. The honest line is this: if the part is visible and screws in from the outside, it’s a reasonable weekend project. If it’s inside the cabinet or behind the drawer box, call us at (903) 623-1966 and we’ll have the right part matched and installed without guesswork. Isaac Pruett will tell you the same thing: “Tell me what’s wrong with it. We’ll figure out what it actually needs.”
